"Words are the voice of the heart." Here are the cherished words and beautiful memories written by loved ones.
Your statement “I do not rear human beings, I bring them up to be humans beings, mobo!” Still echo in my ears. I know you will laugh on hearing this from me. But for your Godly intervention, my education would have ended at class six. I came to be fed, you train me how to feed others. I came to you to be cared for, but you taught me how to care for others. I came to enjoy your wonderful meals, but you taught me how to provide good meal. I came to enjoy your wisdom, but you taught us how to be wise. Came to live on your knowledge, but you taught me how to acquire knowledge. Your upbringing makes the difference. Thanks so much for helping me. I have duly informed your twins about who was behind.
Part of my favourite childhood memories were christmas and new year at Swedru with Grandma. she will cook large pots of food and serve us all with love. It was always a delight making that journey back then. Rest well granny.
Grandma, you were the foundation of this family and leave behind a great legacy. We thank God for your life. Please watch over us all and sleep peacefully. We love you.
My memory of old lady has to do with the fact that she was always willing to share and give, and so even in her last days where she was as little as egg size meal, she will always leave some for me eat, aside that old lady will always make sure that any artisan who comes to work for her will never leave hungry, she will always cook for them aside paying them for their work done. She also thought me how to give only your best to God and even to any ordinary person, so I never give dirty notes as offering in church or in giving of alms to the needy. God bless her for kind heart and rest peacefully in the bosom of her maker🙏
I remember one of my first visits to Ghana when I was 2 or 4, GG Ma and I would have conversations in Twi. She was very happy that I could speak Twi even better than English. I will miss her prayers and constant hope for our family, may she rest in eternal peace!!
